My painter friend Tracey and I are planning on having a last-minute art reception later next week at our friend’s store Heylee’s Collections in Fort Worth. Thursday August 29 from 6pm-8pm is when I will be there hanging out, if you want to stop by and say hi.
I am going to have some new wood blocks on display and there are some matted and framed 5x7s for sale for $40 each but you will be able to buy a pair for $70 or three for $100 during the reception. Tracey is also going to have some works for sale and Heylee’s Collections has tons of cool hand-sewn items and does custom monogramming on any of their products for a very reasonable fee.
Please feel free to bring some friends and maybe a few good jokes if you know any. There will be light refreshments and some snacks provided. If you know of any other artists who are interested in showing their stuff at Heylee’s, please tell them to pop by and talk to the owner Ghey—she is very supportive of the local art community.
