chaos/disparity

chaos/disparity

Traveling through Thailand with my camera and no timeline was one of my greatest journeys so far. There was a constant supply of stimulating people and atmospheres and plenty of fortunate, as well as unfortunate, coincidences greeted me as I progressed through the country and met new people.

The mixture of sights between rural Thailand and the metropolis of Bangkok was perpetually invigorating. I particularly loved taking environmental portraits while I was in Thailand. People in general seemed very friendly and comfortable with themselves or too busy to notice I was taking their photo.

This project focuses on the chaotic energy I felt in Bangkok coupled with the disparity in circumstance and energy that fascinated me while traveling through other smaller cities and more rural parts the country.

Prints and elaborated descriptions of images from this project are available here.
